You have a spreadsheet of company websites and need a way to reach them. There are two broad approaches: B2B contact databases that look up people and verified emails by domain, and website enrichment tools that read each company's own site for the emails, phone numbers, and social links it publishes. This guide compares six options on published features and pricing.
Disclosure: ManiGinaM, the company behind aileapers, built this Actor. ManiGinaM built and sells the Website Contact Enrichment Actor on Apify Store, listed below. ManiGinaM earns money every time it is run. We list its drawbacks alongside everyone else's.

How We Chose
We included tools that can start from a company domain or website and return contact details, and that publish enough pricing to compare. We split them into two groups because they answer different questions:
- People databases (Hunter, Snov.io, Apollo, Lusha) tell you who works at a company and their likely or verified email, drawn from their own data.
- Website crawlers (the two Apify Actors) read the company's public pages and return the contact details the company itself publishes, such as info@ addresses, main phone numbers, and social profiles.
Before using any of these for outreach, check the rules that apply to you (for example CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and GDPR) and each site's terms.
Detailed Picks
Hunter – Best for finding and verifying people's emails by domain
Who it's for: Sales and recruiting teams that want named contacts at a company, with email verification built in.
Key specs: Free plan with 50 credits a month; Starter $49/month ($34/month billed yearly) with 2,000 credits; Growth $149/month ($104 yearly) with 10,000 credits; Scale $299/month ($209 yearly); Enterprise custom. Credits are shared across Domain Search, Email Finder, and Email Verifier. Monthly credits don't roll over.
Pros:
- Domain Search returns people and their roles, not only generic inboxes.
- Built-in verification.
- Usable free tier.
Cons:
- Doesn't return phone numbers or social profiles in the same way.
- Credits expire monthly on monthly plans.
Snov.io – Best for email finding plus outreach
Who it's for: Small sales teams that want to find emails and send sequences from the same tool.
Key specs: Starter $39/month ($29.25/month billed yearly) with 1,000 credits; Pro plans from $99/month ($74.25 yearly). Includes domain search, email verification, and outreach features; check the site for which features each plan includes.
Pros:
- Lower entry price than Hunter's paid plans.
- Combines finding, verifying, and sending.
Cons:
- Outreach features add complexity if you only need data.
- Credit costs vary by action; check site.
Apollo.io – Best for a large B2B people database
Who it's for: Sales teams that want to search a large database of contacts by company, title, and industry, not just enrich a list.
Key specs: Apollo offers a free plan and several paid tiers billed per user. Its pricing page loads prices dynamically, so we could not confirm current figures; check site.
Pros:
- Large database with filters by title, seniority, and industry.
- Emails and phone numbers alongside company data.
Cons:
- Per-seat pricing adds up for teams.
- Data comes from Apollo's database, not freshly read from the company site.
Lusha – Best for direct phone numbers
Who it's for: Sales reps who prioritize direct dials for named contacts.
Key specs: Lusha offers a free plan and paid per-user tiers; prices were not shown in a form we could confirm, so check site.
Pros:
- Focused on direct phone numbers and emails for named contacts.
- Offers a browser extension (check site for current features).
Cons:
- Credit-based; check site for how many credits a phone vs. email reveal uses.
- Less useful if you only need a company's public contact info.
Contact Details Scraper (Apify) – Best price per page for crawling websites
Who it's for: Developers who want to crawl websites for any emails, phones, and social links, and are happy to tune crawl depth.
Key specs: Published by Apify user vdrmota and one of the most-used Actors in its category (over 66,000 users and a rating of about 4.2/5 from 93 reviews on Apify Store, as of November 2, 2026). Charged per page scraped: $2.00 per 1,000 pages on the Free and Bronze tiers, with lower rates on Silver ($1.50) and Gold ($1.05).
Pros:
- Long track record and many reviews.
- Very cheap if you only crawl one or two pages per site.
- Flexible crawl settings.
Cons:
- Charges per page, so cost per website depends on how many pages you crawl (5 pages per site works out to about $10 per 1,000 sites at the base rate).
- Output is per page; you may need to merge results per company yourself (check the Actor's output docs).

Website Contact Enrichment (Apify) – Best flat price per website (built by ManiGinaM)
Disclosure: ManiGinaM, the company behind aileapers, built this Actor. ManiGinaM sells it on Apify Store and earns money each time it runs.
Who it's for: Teams with a list of company websites who want one clean contact record per company at a predictable price.
Key specs: According to its Apify Store listing, it reads each site's homepage plus linked contact, impressum, about, and team pages (5 pages by default, up to 20), and returns one record per website with emails (including obfuscated and Cloudflare-protected addresses and those in schema.org markup), an optional MX check that sets aside emails whose domain can't receive mail, phone numbers in E.164 format (from tel: links, page text, and schema.org markup including contact points), the business's own LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and TikTok profiles (personal profiles and people on team or press pages are left out, at most 3 per network), company name, and schema.org postal address. It respects robots.txt, never logs in or fills forms, and handles up to 10,000 websites per run.
Pricing: $8 per 1,000 websites ($0.008 each), with lower rates on higher Apify Store tiers ($7.60 / $7.20 / $6.80). Websites that fail to load aren't charged, and there's no extra charge per page crawled. Apify's free plan includes $5 of monthly usage.
Pros:
- Flat price per website regardless of how many pages it reads.
- One merged record per company, with normalized phone numbers.
- No API keys or seats.
Cons:
- Only finds contact details the website itself publishes; it doesn't look up named people or guess email patterns.
- No mailbox-level email verification (only the optional MX check).
- Sites that only offer a contact form, or block automated requests, will return little or nothing; it doesn't use proxies.
- Brand new (listed November 2026) with no user reviews yet.

What to Look For
People vs. company contacts
If you need a named decision-maker, a people database (Hunter, Apollo, Lusha, Snov.io) is the right category. If you need the company's own published inbox, phone, and social links, for example to fill gaps in a CRM, a website crawler is cheaper and fresher.
Price per useful result
Compare what you pay per company enriched, not per credit or page. A per-page crawler is cheapest for shallow crawls; a per-website price is easier to predict for deeper ones. People databases charge per lookup or reveal; check how many credits a phone reveal uses compared with an email.
Data freshness and verification
Databases can be out of date; crawlers only find what's on the site today. If deliverability matters, run emails through a verifier before sending.
Compliance
Collecting public contact details is one thing; emailing or calling them is regulated. Check CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, and any local rules for your use.
FAQ
Q: What is website contact enrichment?
A: It's the process of taking a list of company websites or domains and adding contact details, such as emails, phone numbers, and social profiles, to each one, either from a database or by reading the company's own web pages.
Q: What's the cheapest way to get emails from a list of domains?
A: For company-published addresses, a website crawler on Apify is usually cheapest: from about $2 per 1,000 pages (pay per page) or $8 per 1,000 websites (flat per site). For named people, Hunter's free plan gives 50 credits a month to start.
Q: Do these tools verify emails?
A: Hunter and Snov.io include email verification. The Website Contact Enrichment Actor offers an optional MX record check, which confirms a domain can receive mail but doesn't verify individual mailboxes.
Q: Is it legal to scrape contact details from websites?
A: Reading public pages is generally treated differently from using the data. How you store and contact people is governed by laws such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA, and by each site's terms. Get advice for your situation.
